My Baby is 2 Months Old! Since When?!

Still so little. Some times I feel like I'm trying to make her grow faster than what she is doing by all the toys, books, and activities I put her through! But then I also look at her and realize I don't want her to grow up so fast! 2 months has brought us a lot of fun new attributes from our baby girl. (notice that she only has one sock on in this picture. it is impossible to keep 2 socks on this kid!)

We're still taking alot of naps together. :)

She got me a book for Mother's Day. I'm reading the Percy Jackson books now. Bryan was great and got me a gift from him and then put this book beside her in the bassinet for me to find :)

So, we were debating whether to get her a swing or not and we put her in one at our friend's house. When I took her out to go home she started crying. She LOVES her new swing and it makes me laugh because the music is all carribean/island style versions of kid's songs. Yah, mon!

The Fencer pose. She is always on guard and ready to take anyone down!

We went to the library and got some picture books to read to her. She does not like "Russell the Sheep" (she cries every time we start reading it to her), but she loves "Click clack Moo! Cows that type" :)

She smiles at us ALL the time now. So stinkin' cute :)

And yes, she found her thumb! It's okay though. We usually stick a pacifier in when we see she's sucking on her hand.

Tummy time has been much more successful lately. She gets her head up a lot better now.

My chubby baby! She's put on some weight, for sure :).
She loves bath time now :). . . .

. . . But hates getting dried off and lotioned.

She talks with us all the time. She has a lot of important things to say :)

We find out her size this coming week. I wonder how big she is now! 2 months of pure joy :)!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! There is so much I love about this post! I love that even though I haven't met Cami yet, I still know what she looks like and I can see what she's up to. I just get all sister proud when I see how happy she has made you guys. I love her "I love mommmy" shirt, her bath towel :), her huge smile in her swing, her concentration as Bryan reads to her, your nap time together. It makes me want a new baby so bad. Time sure does fly and you're doing so good cherishing each moment and writing it down to remember later! LOVE YOU!

Seriously cute! Don't you love it when they start smiling! It's the best! I'm glad she is enjoying the swing. Sounds like it was a 'must have'. Hilarious that she cries at a book. Haha. We put Kelsie out on the grass and she screams her face off. Funny little people.
